The MacKillop Ball & Archbishop Mannix Address will be a truly unique chance to celebrate the vital contribution of Catholics to Australian society. With World Youth Day almost exactly a year away, this event will be staged at the heart of Australian public life and will commemorate the lives of two of the most important fi gures in Australian history - Blessed Mary MacKillop & Archbishop Daniel Mannix. ALL WELCOME: (this event is open to Congress delegates & the broader public).

The Archbishop Daniel Mannix Memorial Address 2007 will also mark ACSA’s 60th Anniversary
and will be given by Bishop Anthony Fisher OP on the topic:

“TOWARDS WYD2008: activating students, activating young adults, activating Australia.”

The night will also feature:
- a three course formal dinner with some of Australia’s fi nest cuisine;
- the launch of ACSA & ACYA’s TOWARDS 2008 campaign; &
- THE JAZZ CONNECTION – A live jazz Big Band so you can dance the night away…

*Academic Dress / Black Tie also permitted
